The 2011 42nd annual Blue Gray Motocross will be held at Blue Diamond on September 24th and 25th and will be the biggest and best yet. The week prior to the event Blue Diamond will continue to hold its normal practice schedule. The race will be a two day event for most amateur classes with age classes running 2 motos on Saturday only. Starting on Saturday sign up  opens at 6:30 AM, and will be followed by practice at 8:30. After practice, Saturday will start the motos. SEE CLASSES BELOW FOR CLASSES THAT RUN 3 MOTOs AND CLASSES THAT RUN 2 MOTO's. As Saturday, Sunday starts off with sign up at 630 AM for the pro am riders and practice at 8:30 AM. After practice there will be both the standard pro am race and also the conclusion of our third moto for the amateurs. Sign up will be $45 per class for classes that run 3 motos,  $30 for classes that run 2 motos and $50 for Pro Am riders. One day gate fees will be $12 and a weekend pass for $20. Free primitive camping is allowed and hook ups are available for those who may need them.

Remember to obey Blue Diamonds camping and track rules so we are able to put on a smooth running program and enjoyable weekend for everyone!!!

We will be using transponders for scoring that will provide riders with:

  • More accurate scoring
  • Online race results
  • Live real time results
  • You will even be able to get your lap times sent to your smart phone!


So here is what you need to remember:
 
  • Cards Needed: Only a valid AMA card is required to race. However, if you would like to collect District 7 points, then a valid district card will be required at sign up.  District 7 applications will be available.
  • Pete's Cycle will be raffling off a NEW Kawasaki 110. Entry is as follows:

    You must Sign up for 2 classes and receive 2 raffle tickets
    Sign up for 3 classes and receive 4 raffle tickets

    There is only going to be 500 tickets available, first come first serve.
    If there are tickets available after the conclusion of sign up, then the remaining  tickets will be available for purchase at $20 per ticket. The winner will be drawn after the first Pro-AM moto on Sunday. IT'S THAT SIMPLE!

In addition to these classes, we will run a one moto unlimited
Senior Dash For Cash on Sunday. The 30+ and 35+ will run
as one class and 40+ and 50+ as a another class.
